Get Your School Involved
The South African School of Fly Fishing is committed to growing the sport of fly fishing across the country, and the most meaningful place to begin is with young people. As a partner school, we run workshops on your premises, making it easy and accessible for students to get involved. These sessions cater for students who love fishing, whether they are just starting out or already have some experience and want to refine their skills.
The partnership also provides an outlet and pathway for those students who may not participate in mainstream sports, giving them an accessible and rewarding alternative that builds confidence, discipline and a strong connection to the outdoors. Keen youngsters will have the opportunity to join the School of Fly Fishing Competitive Development Team, creating a clear progression for those who wish to pursue competitive fly fishing and possibly one day have the opportunity to represent their province, or even country at international level at the World Youth Fly Fishing Championships.

Help Grow Your School Angling Club
Our team will provide the necessary guidance to teachers to help establish a school angling club if you don’t already have one, and to strengthen existing clubs.
Facilitate Onsite Fly Fishing Workshops
On becoming a partner, one of our instructors will run an open introductory fly‑fishing workshop for students who are keen to get involved.
