Where We Take You to Fish

Bushmans_edited.jpg

Bushmans River, Giants Castle Reserve

Target wild brown trout on one of the Drakensberg’s most well‑known rivers. The upper reaches of the Bushman’s River are a sight to behold, and the fishing experience more than matches it.

Lotheni.jpeg

Lotheni River, Lotheni Reserve

The Lotheni, which flows through this spectacular valley, holds wild brown trout that readily rise to the dry fly. The river is made up of fast runs and pocket water, slower glides and deep pools.

Cobham.jpeg

Polela River, Cobham Reserve

The Polela River , which runs through the Cobham Reserve, holds good numbers of rainbow trout that readily take both nymphs and dry flies. A true gem of the region and only a short drive from Himeville.

Elandspad River, Du Toit’s Kloof

This premier technical trout stream offers diverse water, from deep pools to long, shallow runs. The Elandspad can be challenging, but its abundance of rainbow trout that readily rise to dry flies makes it a consistently rewarding river to fish.
